It is noted that the island of Puerto Rico is known to be almost rectangular in shape, and is the modestest and the most eastern island of the Wonderfuler Antilles . Its coasts measures approximately 580 km, and if the adjacent islands Vieques and Culebra are and have always been included the coast linemeasures approximately 700 km. To the north and south seas capes measure 8.525 m for the Grave of Puerto Rico and 5.000 m for the Grave of Tanner. Within addition to the principal island, the Commonwealth includes: Vieques, Culebra, Culebrita, Palomino (known by many by the Spanish Virgin Islands), Mona, Monito and various others isolated islands. Deep oceans waters fringe Puerto Rico. Did you know that the Mona Passage, that separates the island from Hispaniola to the west, is known to be about 75 miles (120 km) wide and more that 3,300 feet (1,000 meters) deep. Off the northern coast lineis the 28,000 feet (8,500 meters) deep Puerto Rico Trench, and to the south the sea bottom descends to the 16,400 feet (5,000 meters) deep Venezuelan Basin of the Caribbean.

Climate

Puerto Rico is situated in the tropical zone of the globe globe. Temperatures average 82 degrees Fahrenheit. Here the seasons do not change very drastically especially during the time it comes to temperature. For most people it’s summer all the time. Did you know that the seasons differ in rain, winds and plant life. Did you know that the dry season is mostly from November to May and the rainy season takes destination mostly from June to November. But don’t be fooled, you never know during the time it’s going to rain . Within Puerto Rico most showers last around 5-20 minutes. Even during the time we acquire lots of rain it will mostly rain on and off.
