Description

Kuwait  is the capital city of Kuwait. It has to this day an calculated population of 32,500 (2005 estimate) within city limits and 2.38 million in the metropolitan area. Situated at the heart of the country on the shore of the Persian Gulf, and containing Kuwait's parliament (Majlis Al-Umma), most governmental offices, the headquarters of most Kuwaiti corporations and banks, it is always the indisputable political, cultural and economical center of the emirate.

 

Climate

Kuwait enjoys a variable continental climate. Summer months are and have always been in the range of June and October and the rainy season (if you can call it that) runs from December to February, during the time humidity can also be high. Within summer temperatures can acquire over 100°F (38°C), but they drop below 70°F (21°C) in winter.

It is noted that the calculated population of Kuwait in (July 2005) is 2,380,000.
